Being aware that not every woman likes large beads or a statement necklace, I decided to create a few necklaces that are delicate in nature, yet noticeable. I am always fascinated by the Japanese Miyuki tube beads. I marvel at how the manufacturer succeeds in making the glass tubes so thin and with such a small hole! I love to use them in my designs. So, in this case, I took yellow jade beads and strung them with twisted, black Miyuki tubes. I also used faceted small black Swarovski beads on each side of the yellow ones to make them “pop.” The result speaks for itself. I think it is an attractive feminine necklace. It is 19” long and ends with a gun metal lobster claw clasp. The yellow beads are 8 mm. The black tubes are 12 mm. x 2 mm. This design is available in red and black and other colors as well.
